You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel in Cusco, and transfer for two hours to Mollepata where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast in a typical local restaurant.
After breakfast, we will continue our journey for about an hour and thirty minutes more to the town of Soraypampa 3,850m/12,600 ft.
At this moment, we will start our walk for two hours and twenty minutes through beautiful landscapes, when we will enjoy all the colourful and magnificent views, including a panoramic view of the alternative trekking to Machupicchu and the majestic snowy peak of Mount Salkantay (6,272m/20,577ft). The hike starts at 12,700 feet and the lake is at 13,900 feet. Once we get to the Humantay lagoon we will be rewarded with absolutely breathtaking views of the clear two-coloured water at the top (4,200 m/13,779 ft). Here we will have enough time to rest and take pictures.
After that, we will walk back, where our vehicle will be waiting for us and we will return to Mollepata to have lunch.
After lunch, we will depart back to Cusco where we will arrive at approximately 5:30 pm. Your adventure comes to an end with a drop-off in Central Cusco.
