The journey takes you to the majestic Rio Pacuare, where the roar of the river signals the start of your white-water rafting experience. Paddle through 13 kilometers of rapids, with each twist and surge of the river testing your teamwork and determination. Your efforts are rewarded as you arrive at the Pacuare River Lodge, nestled deep in the primary rainforest. After a satisfying lunch, you can choose to explore the jungle on a guided hike, try your hand at fishing, or simply unwind in a hammock while absorbing the serenity of the surroundings.
Day 1 - 2
As night falls, enjoy a hearty dinner amid the soothing sounds of the rainforest, reflecting on a day filled with thrills and natural beauty.
Day 2
Awaken to the tranquil sounds of the jungle at the Pacuare River Lodge, ready for another exhilarating day. After breakfast, you’ll tackle the second leg of your white-water journey—23 kilometers of Class IV rapids that promise an adrenaline-fueled experience. With nearly 30 rapids to conquer, this stretch of the river is as challenging as it is breathtaking. Midway, a riverside lunch offers a peaceful interlude, allowing you to recharge and reflect on the morning's excitement. A guided hike unveils more of the jungle's hidden treasures, deepening your connection to this extraordinary environment. The adventure concludes at the private Exploration Center in Siquirres, where you can freshen up and share stories of your journey. From there, you'll have the flexibility to return to San José, La Fortuna, or Puerto Viejo, ensuring a seamless transition to your next destination.
