Tag 1
Arequipa Accommodation Pick-up
We will pick you up from your downtown accommodation between 3:00 a.m. to 3:30 a.m.
Transfer to Chivay
Transfer you to Chivay town, in the heart of the Colca Canyon.
Cruz del Condor Viewpoint
We'll have breakfast and then go directly to “Cruz Del Condor viewpoint” where we will see the flight of the condors.
Transfer to Mirador De San Miguel
From here, we will make our way to the Mirador De San Miguel, the starting point of our trekking route.
Trek to San Juan De Chucchu Village
We will begin our hike at around 10:00 am by walking down to the village of San Juan de Chuccho (3 ½ hours walking). Upon arrival at the village, you will have time for lunch and relax.
Tag 1 - 2
Overnight in San Juan De Chucchu
Settle into your lodging and enjoy the scenery of the impressive canyon for the afternoon. Have dinner and get a good night's sleep.
Tag 2
Trek to Sangalle
Wake up early and have a hearty breakfast before continuing your trek along the other side of the canyon, passing through the villages of Cosñirhua and Malata, before reaching Sangalle, located at the lowest altitude point of the canyon (3 hours walking).
We will arrive around midday, depending on our pace, and have lunch. We will have the rest of the afternoon to rest up, relax in the pool and enjoy another day in the midst of the Colca Canyon.

Overnight in Sangalle
Overnight in Sangalle rustic bungalows.
Tag 3
Trek to Cabanaconde
Today, we will get an early start and begin trekking up to Cabanaconde town at around 05:00 am where we will have breakfast (3 hours steep uphill hike).
Bus to Chivay
From Cabanaconde take a bus to Chivay.
Hotsprings in Chivay
Upon arrival to Chivay, we will visit the relaxing hot springs in town (30-40 minutes), the perfect remedy for our tired muscles and have lunch.
Transfer to Puno
From Chivay you will connect with a bus that will take you on to the lakeside town of Puno, located on the stunning Titicaca Lake. On your way, you will stop to get beautiful views of volcanoes and you will pass the National Reserve Salinas and Aguada Blanca.
You will arrive at Puno bus station at around 07:30 pm. We wish you the best for your onward travels!
