Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park This park was created to provide comfort to the refugees who fled North Korea during the Korean War.

Bridge of Freedom You will visit the Freedom Bridge, constructed in 1953 to free 12,773 prisoners. This bridge was used by South Koreans returning from the North, allowing you to connect with its cultural and emotional significance as you walk in their footsteps decades later. Set against a stunning natural backdrop, the bridge is also a perfect spot for photos—so take the opportunity to capture some lasting memories!

DMZ DMZ Theater – History in Motion At the DMZ Theater, you’ll have the chance to watch a brief 7-8 minute video on the Korean conflict. The video offers a South Korean perspective on the Korean War, the creation of the DMZ, and the current situation. It also provides insight into the infiltration tunnels dug by North Korea. Having just walked through the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, this video should be particularly enlightening. DMZ Exhibition Hall – A Haven for History Enthusiasts Your next stop on the DMZ tour is the Exhibition Hall. Here, you’ll find key artifacts that help deepen your understanding of Korea's complex history. With photos, documents, and relics from the past, a visit to the Exhibition Hall will give you a more comprehensive and visual insight into the conflict. There are numerous exhibits and fascinating facts that will especially appeal to history buffs.

The Third Tunnel One of the highlights of our itinerary is the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel. Discovered in 1978, this tunnel is located 12 kilometers from Munsan and 52 kilometers from Seoul. It was intended to be used for a surprise invasion of the South. Measuring 1,635 meters in length, 2 meters in height, and 2 meters in width, the tunnel could have transported an entire division per hour! Interestingly, when the tunnel was found, North Korea claimed it was built by the South for a surprise attack, but the evidence clearly indicates otherwise. Walking through it will make you feel as if you've stepped back in time!

Dora Observatory Experience unobstructed views at Dorasan Observatory Perched atop Dorasan, this observatory is the perfect spot for gazing across the border. As the closest point to North Korea, it’s a must-see highlight for travelers on our Half Day DMZ tour! Take in a once-in-a-lifetime view of isolated North Korea, using the high-powered binoculars on the third floor for a closer look. You’ll be able to spot the North’s propaganda village within the DMZ and see as far as Gaesong, the ninth-largest city in North Korea. On a clear day, you might even catch a glimpse of the bronze statue of Kim Il-sung! Dorasan Observatory was recently rebuilt and reopened on October 22, 2018. The renovations made it taller with an improved angle, offering an even better view of Kijong-dong, Gaesong city, and the Gaesong Industrial Complex!
